Hyde Sails continue to perform at a high level in the XOD as X166 Swallow finishes 3rd overall at Itchenor Keelboat Week and 2nd overall in Cowes Classic Week.

Ben McGrane (One Design Sales Manager) continues to be active within the class, racing on X166 through the season and has also visited Lymington this year racing on X165 and X176.If you see Ben at a regatta, do take the time to ask any questions on setup, he is always happy to help. There has been a steady increase in the number of boats making the switch to Hyde Sails on the XOD and there are now boats racing in Hamble, Cowes, Lymington and Parkstone powered by Hyde Sails.

Hyde Sails XOD covers and accessories continue to prove popular. We have 2 cover options to suit preferences, our battened edge version tensions at the shroud and aft spinnaker block removing the requirement for aditional hooks down the length of the cover. The battens can also be removed when the cover is to be used and stored onboard for a regatta although we have found it is very easy to roll the cover around the battens and store it down a side of the cockpit under the seat and spinnaker bag. We also offer a traditional design without battens. 

Alongside our covers we also offer a great range of accessories with Hyde XOD spinnaker bags and the Navigator pocket proving to be the most popular choices.

While there is little time until Cowes Week, there is still time to order sails with mains and jibs in stock at our Hamble office. Spinnakers, covers and accessories are also available on short lead times, orders can be placed through our online shop.
